We sell the invisible. That colorless, shapeless, weightless item called an EXPERIENCE. Once we deliver it, we cannot go back and exchange it for a nicer one, or reshape a defective one as if it were a product coming off of an assembly line. Each time we deliver an experience, it’s like a handcrafted item where no two are exactly alike. So many factors affect the way in which we deliver the services you receive. Factors such as weather, time of day that we transport, a patients medications, their diagnosis and state of mind, and even road conditions are just a few. And while some events are out of our control like delays on the interstate due to weather or traffic, it’s how we respond and overcome those obstacles that make us the company that we are.
Having personnel with patient care backgrounds plays a huge roll in guaranteeing that every patient that we transport has a positive experience. If we simply satisfied the almost non-existent state requirements for non-emergency vehicles, we could hire anyone with a clean driving record and pay them minimum wage. But then the Experience that we are known for would be very different. Instead, our personnel are closely screened for not only an exemplary work history, but their ability to troubleshoot, think critically, and put patients and their family at ease.
