MMT Honors U.S. Veterans

United States Veterans- the Rock Stars, the Athletic Legends, the Action Heroes and the Image of Valor within our world today. There is no amount of money, no medal of honor and no words that could truly compensate these heroes for their decision to put their lives on the line to defend America’s freedom and way of life. One doesn’t need to look far beyond our borders to see the tyranny, oppression, poverty and deprivation in the world around us. Here in the United States, what makes us rich and in many cases, envious of so many, is our freedom. And what keeps us free is the drive, the skill, the patriotism and the unselfishness of our military and its veterans.

So how do you thank these heroes of the past and present who have given so much? There is certainly no shortage of causes for which you could support. Most people allign themselves with the charities and causes that have in some way touched or affected their lives. It may be the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, or Mothers Against Drunk Driving. We all have different emotional ties and past experiences that drive us to volunteer our time or reach deep into our pockets to help others. But no collection of individuals affects the lives of every single person living or visiting within our borders like U.S. Veterans do. So, continue to support your favorite charities and causes. Volunteer when you can and donate when you are able. But don’t forget when you pass a U.S. Veteran, a soldier in uniform, or a family member of a veteran, to pause for a moment and say, “Thank You”.

During the month of September, we are going to say, “Thank You” as well. For any patient needing transportation who is a United States Veteran or spouse of a United States Veteran, we will slash 10% off of our regular quoted rates. Keep in mind, MMT is a private company and not subsidized by any government programs, grant money or third party payers. We take operating costs (fuel, insurance, payroll, etc..) and formulate the most affordable quote that we can. This 10% discount, will come off of that already affordable quoted rate. Proof of military service is required. (DD214, Military ID, etc..)
